Even so, he fully admits that the Sherpley is a very different
proposition on the road .

Roger has followed the popular perception of the Shepley`s vintage
inspiration with British Racing Green paint, A fabric covered body and a dummy blower poking its polished snout out from
under the radiator grille.
Behind it sits the Granada 2.8 v6 pumping out its robust 140 bhp. At 1080 Kilograms .... 2376lbs ...  all up weight , the power to weight ratio is not all that bad , but it is a far cry from the same poke in a modern sports car. However , Roger`s fiddling has
created a car which, in his words,
" feels like a thirty yearold car that`s been very well maintained ".
Though he drives it quickly when the oportunity arises he is ever
mindful of its limitations in comparision to his Westfield and just curbs the cavalier approach to car control in
deference to its lesser all round ability.
Rogers latest trip was a 2,450 miles circuit of Europe taking in the Dutch Kit Car Show as well as run from Holland , into Germany, down the Rhine to Munich and back.
