Those from the far flung outposts of Empire decided to travel up on the Thursday afternoon and stay at a B & B that Roger had found on his previous excursion and be ready to catch the ferry midmorning the
following day all fresh eyed and bushy tailed.
On arrival in Holland we were met by Ralf van Mer, who led us to Rosmalen in convoy. (once again Gordon didn't get a chance to impress us with his navigational skills- shame) with just the one stop for fuel.

Mal and Yvonne travelled up on Friday morning and we all met up at the ferry terminal. The outward leg was pretty uneventful, except for the Lady attendant at Harwich Harbour seeing an old gentleman having
difficulties alighting from the Sherpley enquired as to whether he would need a wheel chair! That's one way
