1. Enter onto circuit under Avon Bridge as before, turn left, we use clockwise circulation on UK courses (if you don't you will have a bit of panty stainer somewhere at the back of Old Paddock Bend when you meet everyone else going the correct way - Trust me this has occurred. !!! 2. You will find yourself half way up the Starting Grid, try to move to the LH side, this is the true line. 3. Go for it! 4. You will see a kink in front of you, this is called Folly, stay on LH side till you get to the end of the signalling area, then start moving gradually to the RH side for the Folly Apex. WARNING watch the pit lane exit road on LH side for fast moving cars, also use your mirrors you can be passed on both sides here!
5. Try to stay on RH side as you move uphill at Avon Rise , this will give the correct line for the entry into Quarry Corner. The racing school cones will be out to indicate braking and turn in points. WARNING the entry to quarry is blind and dangerous as the crest of Avon rise obscures your view. This is a favourite overtaking spot as well, use the mirrors, good cars will be approaching at 130 + mph. The braking cones clearly show that the braking zone for Quarry is split into two parts, this is for very good reason! As you climb Avon Rise aim to apex on the LH of the crest, brake on the marker cone and release the brake on the second cone. WARNING if you brake over the crest you WILL crash heavily. The temptation to brake comes from the view offered by Quarry as you crest it at speed, don't worry most people crap themselves the first time! As you apex the rise try to keep the steering steady as the suspension settles over the yump, you should be set on the LH side aiming directly for the marker cones, brake where shown, mirror to RH side.
