The Liege -Targa - Liege is an International endurance trial for specialist cars which  took place over thirteen days from
September 25th. To October 7th. 1999.


The relentless pace was a real test for both crews and cars.
For the 1999 event hand built cars such as Lotus , TVR and Morgan were  able to compete , allowing the specialist cars to take on the challenge.
From the legendary start at Liege to the Targa Florio in Sicily and back again , the 7000 km route took in the most spectacular mountain roads of the Alps and Apennines.
Crews  competed on many of the roads used on the Monte Carlo Rally , Alpine Rally , Mille Miglia and the Targa Florio ,
the greatest and most dramatic road race circuit in the history of motor racing , 900 corners in each 72km lap.
