Weight
The weight of the car must not be less than 600kg including the driver

Ballast can be used to bring the car up to the minimum weight but this cannot be added during a race
 
Brakes
All cars must have one braking system using two hydraulic circuits, one circuit operating the front brakes, and the other the rears, in order to cope in the event of a failure

Any power braking system or anti-lock system is banned

No more than one brake calibre, with a maximum of six pistons, can be used per wheel

No more than one brake disc per wheel can be used. These discs must have a maximum of thickness of 28mm and a maximum outer diameter of 278mm
   
 
Suspension and Steering
All cars must have sprung suspension in which there must be sufficient travel in excess of any flexibility in the attachments

Suspension geometry must remain fixed at all times and all suspension units must be attached to a steel cable in order to prevent wheels from hitting the driver's head

Four-wheel steering is forbidden although power steering is permitted as long as all it does is decrease the amount of
effort required from the driver.
